Accreditation for psychology departments is given by the Turkish Psychological Association (TPD) with the authorization of YÖK; It is the process of assuring the minimum level of success and quality standards necessary for an undergraduate program to achieve its own and/or expected goals.

TEDU PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT RANKED 5TH ACCORDING TO QUALITY CRITERIA IN THE TÜBİTAK "FIELD-BASED COMPETENCY ANALYSIS OF UNIVERSITIES" REPORT
According to the "Field-Based Competency Analysis of Universities" published by TUBITAK in 2021, which includes the comparative evaluation of the performances of universities based on research areas, TEDU Department of Psychology ranks 5th in terms of quality criteria and 11th in terms of volume among psychology departments in Turkey. When evaluated together in terms of both volume and quality indicators, it is seen that the department still ranks first. TEDU Department of Psychology, together with its teaching staff, students and graduates, continues to work to protect and further this position, which it reached in a short period of 5 years.
